Mark is well equipped and experienced as a session musician. He is a strong sight-reader and multi-instrumentalist, comfortable in a recording studio and relaxed and confident on stage, experienced depping in a large variety of situations. He is suited across various genres of jazz/funk/soul and pop as well as having classical training for theatre work. He is a regular member of the house band at The Spice of Life, Soho, adds horns to the London Funk Network and works alongside artists recording original music on the London scene. He is available on all saxophones, clarinets, flute, bass guitar and is currently working on his upright bass playing!
The Haus Horns
Mark performs and writes for dynamic brass section The Haus Horns. Consisting of sax, trumpet and trombone they join 6-piece party show band, The Haus Band performing festivals and functions across the south-west. As a horn section The House Horns are available for studio and recording sessions.
Bass Guitar
Mark plays bass guitar in the Bass12 trio, Bass12's toned-down line-up perfect for background music with their funk/jazz/pop blend or to warm-up the crowd before the full Bass12 band take the stage. You can also find him slotting in across the London scene on a mix of nights where there's groove and good vibes.
