Mark studied with both UK and internationally renowned jazz musicians at the RWCMD, and has taken further study with the likes of saxophonist Dick Oatts away from college. His main influences include Michael Brecker, Cannonball Adderley and Dick Oatts.

He lead a monthly jazz night in Cardiff with house band and jam session, and can now regularly be seen at jam nights on the London jazz fusion and improvised groove scene.

He has performed at established jazz festivals in London, Swansea and Brecon, been a part of the Amser Jazz Tour of Wales on numerous occasions and can regularly be seen sitting in at high-profile London venues.
